Characteristics and Identification |
The adult male has a green head and upperparts except for chestnut-brown lores and uppertail coverts. It has a rufous-colored tail (from which its named is derived) and a bright pink bill with a black tip. It is commonly seen in clearings, gardens, forest edges and secondary forests. |
