Scientific Name	Panterpe insignis
Size	A small bird, measuring only 10.5-11.0 cm (4.1"-4.3") in length.
Range	Found in parts of Costa Rica and Western Panama
Characteristics and Identification	Features bright, sparkling iridescent feathers which change color depending on the light. It has a metallic green body capped with a blue crown, and a straight, black bill. The fiery throat varies through shades of orange, red, yellow, and blue depending on the light.
